About OverlayMend

OverlayMend is an independent tool that removes the supported visible Gemini image watermark and the supported visible Veo/Gemini video overlay. It runs entirely in your browser — your media is never uploaded, stored, or sent to analytics or ad providers.

Why we built it

Most “watermark removers” use generative inpainting that blurs or hallucinates detail. Visible AI overlays don’t need that: the original pixels still exist beneath a known transparent mask, so they can be restored with exact math and zero re-imagining.

Independence

OverlayMend is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of Google, Gemini, or Veo. Those names are used only to describe the specific overlays the tool supports.

Honest scope

We only claim what we can do: the supported visible overlays. OverlayMend does not remove SynthID, C2PA provenance, invisible watermarks, or arbitrary copyright marks, and we will not market it as a universal remover.
